• Short peaks of up to 250 A are allowed for 5 s, for example while a motor or an inverter starts.
• At the recommended charge current of 20 A, charging from empty takes roughly 5 h.
• The maximum charge current is 100 A.

Installation

• Fit a fuse or circuit breaker close to the positive terminal and size the cables for 100 A of continuous current.
• Charge it at 14.4 V with a LiFePO4-compatible charger. For mains power see AC–DC battery chargers; for charging from a vehicle alternator see DC–DC battery chargers.
• It is a deep-cycle battery: do not use it to start an engine unless the manufacturer rates this model for starting.
