Description
Overview
This DC–DC battery charger charges at 12.6 V or 14.5 V from an input of 8–36 V DC. This listing contains 4 models with charging currents of 8–10 A.
Every value below is stated by the supplier for that exact model and has not been independently tested by PVShop. Choose a model above to see its full specifications and download its datasheet. Price and availability depend on your delivery country; the selector above shows the models available for it.
Charge voltages in this listing
- 12.6 V: the usual full-charge voltage of 3-cell lithium-ion (NMC) batteries (11.1 V nominal).
- 14.5 V: check that it matches the charge voltage your battery’s manufacturer specifies.
Always use the charge voltage your battery’s manufacturer specifies.
All 4 models in this listing
| Model | Configuration | Input voltage | Charge voltage | Charging current | Output power |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PVS-000716 | with ACC | 8–36 V DC | 12.6 V | 10 A | ≈ 126 W |
| PVS-000718 | without ACC | 8–36 V DC | 12.6 V | 10 A | ≈ 126 W |
| PVS-000719 | with ACC | 8–36 V DC | 14.5 V | 8 A | ≈ 116 W |
| PVS-000720 | without ACC | 8–36 V DC | 14.5 V | 8 A | ≈ 116 W |
≈ Calculated from output voltage × current; not a separate power rating.
Choosing the right model
- Choose the charge voltage that matches your battery’s chemistry and number of cells.
- Check that the charging current does not exceed your battery’s maximum charge current: for example, a 100 Ah battery limited to 0.5C accepts up to 50 A.
- The input range must cover your source voltage, including the higher voltage while a vehicle’s engine is running.
- Each model has its own PVShop datasheet. It appears with the full specifications when you select the model above.
