Overview
This Ampere Time battery has a rated capacity of 400 Ah at 12 V nominal voltage. It uses LiFePO4 cells.
Runtime and charging
- Continuous discharge: up to 250 A, about 3000 W at nominal voltage. Keep inverters and other loads below this.
Installation
- Fit a fuse or circuit breaker close to the positive terminal and size the cables for 250 A of continuous current.
- Charge it with a LiFePO4-compatible charger at the voltage the manufacturer specifies. For mains power see AC–DC battery chargers; for charging from a vehicle alternator see DC–DC battery chargers.
- It is a deep-cycle battery: do not use it to start an engine unless the manufacturer rates this model for starting.
